Jamie Cureton hopes his future will be decided this week as he bids to convince Exeter manager Paul Tisdale to sign him on a permanent deal. The experienced striker has been training with the Grecians since the start of the month. He looked impressive in two pre-season games, scoring the final goal in a 3-0 win against Clevedon Town last week. Cureton hopes he has done enough to impress Tisdale and earn a contract at the League One club. "I think the manager has been pleased with me. I hope we will start talking about my future this week," said the 34-year-old. "How I do will determine what the manager's thoughts are and whether he thinks I can come in and do a job. "Hopefully I have done enough and I hope to do more this week and then we will be able to sit down and talk. If he wants me to stay then great, but if it's not right then we move on. I'm hoping we sort something out either way soon."
