Swindon defender Kevin Amankwaah could retain his place after impressing in Saturday's battling, narrow 2-1 defeat at leaders Brighton.
Forward Vincent Pericard (knee) remains absent for Paul Hart's relegation-battling team, but he is expected to return to training this week.
Hart is still looking for his first win in five games since taking charge on 4 March.
But the Robins have clearly turned the corner, three draws having been interspersed with single-goal defeats at fellow strugglers Plymouth and high-flying Brighton.
Swindon, who have only one team from the League One Top 10 to play in their eight-game run-in, start the night seven points adrift of safety in 23rd.
Mid-table Exeter, who have lost their last two matches, are nine places, and 15 points, higher in 14th.
Swindon Town manager Paul Hart:
"We feel that win is very close and, once we get one, I feel we will motor on. But that is going to come with a lot of hard work and the players look very prepared to do that.
"I'm not looking at the table. The result against Exeter isn't going to define whether we stay up or go down. There are still enough games for us but you have to start winning soon otherwise it really will be curtains.
"I think we'll need to win five of our remaining games to survive but I'm not looking that far ahead. If you look at the teams around us, they have difficult games too.
"There is a lot still to happen but I really do believe that we can do this."
