A clinical performance from Exeter earned them a 3-1 victory in the West Country derby with Yeovil. A goal-line clearance by Troy Archibald-Henville robbed Yeovil's Dean Bowditch of an 18th-minute goal and from the subsequent corner Adam Virgo had a header cleared off the line. But in the 23rd minute a sublime touch by Richard Logan from a cross by Scott Golbourne put Exeter ahead, and that was how it stayed until the 57th minute. Two minutes after coming on as a substitute for Yeovil, Sam Williams headed them level from a Gavin Williams free-kick. But within 60 seconds City were back in front, Logan scoring his second goal when Berti Cozic put him through. The third was added by Ryan Harley on 75 minutes, and Jamie Cureton was robbed of a fourth goal by a post.
