Exeter have taken former Port Vale striker James Lawrie on a two-week trial. The 19-year-old, who came through the ranks at Vale Park, was released by the League Two club at the end of last season. "He is going to spend a couple of weeks with us and we will wait and see what happens," City boss Paul Tisdale told the club`s official website. "He is a centre-forward who has played for Northern Ireland and was with the full squad this summer."
