Exeter are in the grips of a defensive crisis ahead of their League One trip to Leyton Orient. Skipper Matt Taylor is a doubt due to problems with back spasms, while Richard Duffy is serving a one-match ban following his sending off in last weekend's 2-2 draw with Bristol Rovers. Troy Archibald-Henville would normally be an obvious replacement for Taylor but the game comes too soon for him after seven months on the sidelines with a knee injury. Rob Edwards is expect to start in Taylor's place alongside Billy Jones at the heart of the defence, although should boss Paul Tisdale decide to revert to a 3-5-2 formation, Steve Tully could line-up as a right-sided centre-half with Jake Thomson at wing-back.
