New joint chairman Uri Geller has revealed he has spoken to Michael about playing a one off gig in the city to raise money for children's charities.
"Michael phoned me from Los Angeles yesterday and I asked him about it," explained Geller.
"I asked him would he care to come to Exeter and make some money for sick children and he said, 'Of course'."
"There are absolutely no guarantees and nothing is written in the future yet. He is coming over here anyway and he will give me the okay only if he can find the time in his schedule.
"But if I can arrange the stadium at St James's Park in time and we can fill it for charity, then I think Michael will come."
