The 20-year-old has been a regular for the Grecians, who are six points off the top six with five games to go, but has missed the last two games with a foot ligament injury.
Sercombe told www.thisisdevon.co.uk: "I want to be involved again as quickly as possible. We have been doing well recently and we're in with a chance of the play-offs now.
"The boys and the manager definitely think we can make it. We've just got to take every game as it comes and try to win every game to see where we end up.
"We've had a good run, we've won the last three on the bounce and, if we can get wins in the next two, then it will make things very interesting."
On the possibility of his involvement in the crunch clash with Leyton Orient on Saturday, he added: "If I train later in the week and have no problems, then I probably won't start the game, but hopefully I'll make the bench."
