Gareth Sheldon has been confirmed in Paul Fairclough's latest National Game XI squad today, according to the BBC.
The game against the US, scheduled for the 9th of June in America, will be the latest in a line of appearances which has also seen caps against Italy, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and more recently the Iraq national team. Sheldon netted the only goal on his debut against Italy in February as the National Game XI crashed 4-1 at Gay Meadow. He has since been a regular fixture in the side, starting all three of the Four Nations tournament fixtures and the Iraq game which happened throughout May.
He will be joined in Charleston by former City striker Lee Boylan, currently at Conference new-comers Canvey Island.
