Exeter manager Paul Tisdale is confident captain Matt Taylor has turned a corner in his comeback from injury. Centre-half Taylor, 28, has not turned out for the Grecians since the Carling Cup tie with Ipswich on August 10 due to a back problem. Tisdale revealed there are encouraging signs that Taylor is getting better, although he is still some way off resuming full training. He told the Express and Echo: "Matt seems to have turned a bit of a corner. There have been a few months where he has hardly progressed at all, but now there has been some real progress made, so it will be interesting to see how that continues. "He's started to do some jogging. He's still some way from joining in full training, but to put that into context he has had two months where he hasn`t even been able to jog." Elsewhere, Tisdale admitted that Daniel Nardiello's most recent breakdown with his troublesome hamstring problem is a cause for concern, adding: "His hamstring can feel great one minute but then bad within another couple of days, so he will be seeing a specialist."
