Exeter manager Paul Tisdale is pleased by the attacking options he has at his disposal for the new npower League One campaign. The Grecians narrowly escaped relegation by one point last term and Tisdale has moved to bolster his team's goal threat to avert a repeat situation this season by recruiting Daniel Nardiello and John O'Flynn in the close season. Tisdale, who also has Jamie Cureton on trial and the likes of Richard Logan and Marcus Stewart in the ranks, is confident his front men can plunder the goals needed to keep them afloat. The 37-year-old told the Express & Echo: "We have got a very strong pool of goalscoring strikers, which is going to be a real treat with us to work with. We have signed Nardiello and John O'Flynn has settled in nicely. "Time will tell as he has only been with us a week but I see no problems. I see John being a very solid individual who will work well with us." On sorting a deal with Cureton, he added: "We have just got to see what we can do. He remains in training with us and I would like to have him but the budget has been spent and I have got to find a way to secure him, so we are in the process of that."
