Exeter manager Paul Tisdale breathed a huge sigh of relief after seeing his side hold on for their first away league win of the season, 3-2 at Hartlepool. Ryan Harley put Exeter ahead before Ritchie Humphreys and Antony Sweeney put Hartlepool in front, but O'Flynn's double earned the visitors a first win on their travels since last November. Tisdale said: "It was a very entertaining game in which we came out on top. I'm delighted with the way we played in an end-to-end game and so pleased it came our way - I really thought they had scored at the end, last-gasp and a header hit the post. "Sometimes it goes for you and we played some very good football at times as well. We conceded the equaliser and we started to feel a little bit sorry for ourselves. "We started brightly and although Hartlepool had the thrust of the game and the majority of the ball in the final third we looked very dangerous on the break. "It's a dilemma for a manager - I felt we could score at any time, but it was against the run of play so to speak.
