Exeter will check on the fitness of Steve Tully for their Carling Cup encounter against Ipswich. Tully took a kick to his foot in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Colchester and could be a doubt, with Jake Thomson on stand-by to replace the midfielder. Manager Paul Tisdale told the club's official website: "Steve took an awful whack on his ankle, it's black and blue. It looks very painful but I don't think it is anything more serious than very bad bruising." Striker Richard Logan will be hoping to feature after coming off the bench to score at the weekend but he is still not fully fit after a groin problem. That means John O'Flynn and Daniel Nardiello could lead the line again but Jamie Cureton will also be hopeful of a start. Troy Archibald-Henville (knee ligaments) is a long-term absentee.
