Exeter's unbeaten home record was destroyed by lively Telford in an entertaining game.
The Grecians had plenty of chances but it was the visitors who had the clinical edge in front of goal.
They were ahead in the fourth minute through a Lee Mills strike before Michael Blackwood stretching the lead just after the hour mark.
Despite plenty of pressure Exeter looked shy in front of goal. As they chased the game substitute Tony Naylor made it three in injury time.
Telford looked lively from the start and Mills headed Christian Moore's cross past the post in the third minute.
It was a taste of what was to come. A minute later Moore flicked the ball to Mills inside the box and the striker drilled a low shot into the bottom corner from 15 yards.
Telford always looked dangerous on the break. Matt Clarke skipped his way into the box and shot just past the post from a tight angle.
Exeter's best chance of the half came when James Coppinger put Barry McConnell through on goal and his lobbed shot over the goalkeeper fell inches past the post.
A minute after the restart Moore could have made it two when he drilled the ball into the sidenetting after a fine run.
Moore had another great chance to stretch the lead when he capitalised on a mix-up in the City defence and raced through on goal, but his shot from 15 yards was well saved by James Bittner.
At the other end Gareth Sheldon sliced a shot past the post after he was picked out by Dwane Lee.
Telford hit the second in the 63rd minute. Robin Hulbert's ball over the top found Moore who took the ball around the goalkeeper before picking out Blackwood, who calmly stroked the ball into the back of the net.
Naylor made it three with the last kick of the game when he fired a low shot past Bittner from ten yards.
