Away-day joy for Uwe
Uwe Rosler enjoyed his first away win as manager of Brentford as they beat Exeter 2-1.
The Bees opened the scoring when Jonathan Douglas thumped a free-kick goalwards and it took a wicked deflection off James Dunne to leave Exeter goalkeeper Artur Krysiak stranded.
They doubled the lead after 37 minutes when Niall McGinn crossed from the right and Clayton Donaldson was left with a simple header from six yards for his first Bees goal.
Exeter came out with more purpose in the second half and reduced the arrears when half-time substitute Guillem Bauza scored from the spot after Leon Legge was adjudged to have fouled Tom Nichols in the penalty area.
City piled on the pressure in search of an equaliser and Chris Shepherd came close with a long-range shot that whistled past the upright, but the Bees held on.
